Our panelists will include Jodi Gracey, Import Compliance Manager at Derco Aerospace, and Danny Thomas, International Trade Attorney with Emerson Electric (the parent company to our MWTA member In-Sink-Erator).
JODI GRACEY
As the Import Compliance Manager at Derco Aerospace, Inc., Jodi Gracey is responsible for creating and developing processes for import clearance, part classification, post entry, and ITAR import compliance. Additionally, she is responsible for logistics functions including transportation and export documentation. Jodi is a licensed customs broker and certified customs specialist with more than ten years experience in international transportation and compliance. She earned her BA in History and is on schedule to earn her MBA from Alverno College in December 2011.
DANNY THOMAS
As an International Trade Attorney with Emerson Electric Co., based in St. Louis, Missouri, Danny Thomas concentrates his practice in international trade, antitrust, and commercial matters. He also handles communications for Emerson’s Corporate International Trade Compliance Group. Danny regularly conducts training on a variety of Import, Export, Supply Chain Security, Anti-Corruption, and Antitrust topics. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and The Missouri Bar, and attended Marquette University for both undergraduate and law degrees
