The tendency for many nations facing economic threat is to pull back from trade. This is not a very wise move as most nations need that trade to recover. The US has fallen into that trap of late and this session will look at what threats have been mounted against NAFTA and other agreements. There will be some examination of what is happening in Europe, Asia and Latin America as far as trade is concerned and what we can expect in the near future.
