The ICE Group Meeting will be held in Madison at UW’s Fluno Center.  The topics are:

- In the morning:  “Obama After Year One—Are you Still Stimulated?” &

- In the afternoon:  “Maintaining Brand Consistency in a Global Market”

Presenters

Menzie Chin will talk to us in the morning.  His recent work focuses on the determinants of the trade deficit, how government debt and fiscal policy affect interest rates and his work has been cited in “The Economist”, “Financial Times” and “Reuters”.  Interested readers can follow Menzie’s coverage at his weblog, http://www.econbrowser.com.

Every person within a company plays a role in establishing and maintaining the brand image.  Linda Gorchels afternoon session will outline how the most successful global brands develop relationships with a diverse range of consumers to create lasting brand value.  Linda is an award-winning author, and received the Excellence in Thought Leadership distinction award in 2006.
