Doug Savage to Complete her Term

Douglas Savage

Doug first came to know MWTA nearly twenty years ago when he headed the Midwest office of the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce in Chicago. He currently serves as Assistant Director of the Institute of World Affairs at UW-Milwaukee.

"I'm following my colleague Susan Yelich Biniecki as an MWTA board member. IWA is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. For half a century, the institute has provided outreach programming on a wide variety of international topics. Much of my work at the institute involves the development of media content, including International Focus, our weekly world affairs program for Milwaukee Public Television. As a member of the MWTA board, I hope to explore new ways we can reach our audience using the tools of the digital era."
