Ellen Kosidowski has received the Harry C. Brockel Award for her steadfast efforts to promote international trade and for her distinguished service to the Milwaukee World Trade Association (MWTA).

The MWTA award is given to honor the legacy of Harry C. Brockel, a longtime Milwaukee port director who achieved world recognition for his advocacy of international trade and efforts to open the St. Lawrence Seaway. Kosidowski received the award Dec. 2 at the MWTA Past President's Night Dinner at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.

EllenAward-sm"I would like to offer a sincere Thank You to you and to those that were involved in the decision regarding the Harry C Brockel award. I remain very honored.

I have been fortunate to have spent the past 16+years with a company that has grown their international business. I am also fortunate to have been introduced many years ago to the International Trade Community in Southeastern Wisconsin through great organizations like MWTA and ICE.

The networking, sharing of best practices and educational events have been quite beneficial and continue to be a tremendous value to members. I have met amazing people from Wisconsin companies of all sizes who have shared their experiences and best practices, concepts which I have been able to take back to my office and modify to fit our international business processes over the years. I believe in the vast opportunities available in global trade, and I am proud to be co-chair of the MWTA Education Committee which helps facilitate these educational programs.

I am sincerely thankful for my colleagues (and friends) of MWTA and ICE who have provided so many opportunities for growth, both professionally and personally. I look forward to many more years of participation in this great network of global trade professionals!"

Kind Regards,

Ellen
